In short, I was born in Glasgow, grew up in Lenzie, studied pharmacy at Strathclyde University in the 70s, moved to Aberdeenshire when my oldest daughter was a toddler, and the twins were born while we were there.

I worked as a locum in Aberdeenshire, and then when we moved to Balfron, went back to Uni – Glasgow this time – to study for a BD in the 90s, stayed on to do an MTh – mostly Greek and Hebrew texts and biblical studies.

I did my probation at Bearsden South, then was called to Fortingall and Glenlyon, linked with Kenmore and Lawers, where I ministered for 20 years until I retired in September and moved to Findo Gask.

I like all sorts of handcrafts, photography, gardening, and Brian, my husband, and I have spent a lot of our holidays over the last few years walking or cycling various Caminos and long distance routes (the softies way – us with a daypack and our luggage travelling on without us!).

We have three daughters (and sons in law) and four grandchildren ranging in age from not quite 2 to 8.
